Work

Work has been quite hectic lately.  There's less than one week until Christmas, and parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles are feeling that.  You can tell because they come in looking for one sort of specific item, such as, "I need to know what's 'in' with the nine year olds this year."  Okay...do you want clothing?  Accessories?  Toys?  "Oh, anything, I guess."  Well that doesn't help me.  Does she like Hannah Montana or High School Musical?  "What're those?"  Never mind.  What colors does she like?  "I don't know."

Then why the hell did you come in here?  Go to Gap, damnit.

I am getting closer and closer to knowing about the insurance position; I have submitted my information for a background check (which I will easily clear), and submitted more information online that I already submitted when I applied for the position.  Who knows.  I think since we've made it this far, I have a really good shot, but who knows how many other people are applying for the job, too?

Aaron and I don't have any plans for Christmas; we don't have enough time off in a row to go home and visit, nor do we have the money.  So it's just going to be a day like any other day, I suppose.  But that's okay.  It will be nice to just sit down and relax for a couple of days (for the first time in a month), instead of always mucking about and having to do something.

Anyway, that's about it for me now.  Just a quick update before I head off to work.
